Bird of a long lost land

A distand mirage,
Those vales and hills
Streams and rivers,
A long gone memory

Its just air,
In the front ,back
And the up and down
Well spread to the sides
Call it hope

Swirling ,bending
Throwing shapes
At me
Some grave
Beautifull some are

No colours ,only
The reality of black
And white
Truth,lies and some
Rotten carcases

Love ,care,joy
The weakness
I don't have
But ones they are
I crave the most

All is mute
The wind
The clouds
Except for the
Flapping of my wings

I'm high
Up above
Yet so low
Yearning for that
Bit of land down below

And still my wings,
They flap
I go up still ,
Further away ,
The yearning high pitched

The flight is long ,
Wind heavy ,
The fight gruelling
And hard
Yet i fly
